Kick Start

Kick Start is a worldwide online coding competition that consists of three-hour rounds of algorithmic tasks created by Google developers. Hash Code


Hash Code is a Google-sponsored team programming competition for students and professionals from all around the world. This year's competition begins with a Qualification Round, in which your team can compete online alongside your virtual Hub from wherever they want. After that, the best teams will be invited to compete in our virtual World Finals.


STEP Program

STEP (Student Training in Engineering Program), originally Engineering Practicum, is a 12-week internship for first and second-year undergraduate computer science students.

The internship program focuses on offering technical training and professional development opportunities to students from historically underrepresented groups in technology. Our one-of-a-kind internship allows you to collaborate on a software project with other STEP interns and full-time Googlers, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real professional experience.

Code Jam

Google's longest-running global coding competition, Code Jam, pits programmers of all levels against one another. Competitors must complete a series of online algorithmic problems to qualify for the World Finals, where they will compete for the championship title and $15,000 USD.
